Material Delivery
This service can be achieved utilizing any of the following means
– Heathrow Consolidation Centre
– Lay down compounds
– Forklifts and drivers (CPCS)
– Vehicles
– Manual handling equipment
– Material delivery operatives
Waste Removal
The aim of waste removal innovation is to significantly reduce the impact on the environment of waste from construction projects through careful management and maximizing recycling opportunities.
This service is to include the management of the disposal of project waste from airside/landside, including supply of skips, waste bins and material waste points. Waste will be disposed of utilizing the recognized waste contractor Powerday.
The following strategy is to apply:
– Waste is to be pre sorted on site utilizing colour coded bins. These are only to be emptied into like coded skips and compactors thus reducing cost and enabling better recycling.
– Waste bins are to be placed at pre-designated waste areas on site.
– Contractors are to break down waste to suitable size for the bin and place in the bins provided.
– Operatives will remove full bins, empty into the skips/compactors and replace empty bins in the pre-designated waste areas.
– Operatives will place any remaining minor non-contributable waste to the bins and sweep the area.
Carpenter
All hoarding and fencing operations can be met. All hoarding will meet with current BAA standards. We have a fully trained, airside passed hoarding team that can react quickly and effectively to any situation. These same skills can also be adapted to other operations.
Site Signage
The setting up and regular inspection and maintenance of all site signage. This will include all designated site safety signage, access and egress signage and way finding signage throughout the project. This will include signage on the public highway and airport air side and land side roads and allowances for any road closures via a third party supplier.
Welfare
Aero provides Welfare Operatives to maintain the general cleanliness of clients Welfare Facilities. All areas are to be cleaned daily and all consumables provided as required. To include but not limited to:
– Vacuuming of carpets
– Sweeping/mopping of vinyl floors
– Emptying of waste paper bins
General polishing and dusting of the following areas:
– Rest rooms facilities
– Toilets and washrooms
– Drying rooms and locker rooms
– Office facilities
– Entrance halls
– Stairways
– Builders cleans and specialist deep cleans can be arranged and carried out by our specialist team.
Provision of PPE for VISITORS
Aero can supply PPE for visitors and staff which includes:
– Hard Hat
– Hi Visibility vest
– Protective footwear
– Glasses /Goggles
– Gloves
Fire Provisions
Provision and setting up of regular inspection of statutory fire signage, fire escape routes and the site fire assembly areas. Setting up, Testing, Maintenance and Regular Inspection of site fire points, to include the provision and maintenance of fire extinguishers, statutory signage and bells. The principal contractor will determine the site fire plan. Escape routes and the position of the fire points will be identified in conjunction with logistics suppliers.
Fire points and escape routes must comply with Airport Engineering instructions. Each fire point is to consist of the following:
– 1 No Fire Point stand
– 1 No. Co2 extinguisher
– 1 No. AFFF (Foam)
– Signage
Airline Laundry Services
Consumables
Consumables will be supplied to suit the project needs and may include the following:
– Tea, Coffee, Milk, Sugar and disposable cups to the accommodation welfare area
– Water for cold water dispensers
– Office cleaning equipment and consumables
– Basic tools and equipment for completing clean up and minor works on site
– Tool store
– Diesel for plant and equipment
– Spill kits
– Crockery and cutlery
– Entrance matting

Man Power and Staffing
– Logistics: General Operatives, Supervisors, Managers.
– Carpenters and qualified labourer Staff with CSCS card holder.
Traffic Management
Full or partial road closure can be supplied to suit project needs; these will be carried out by suitably trained personnel using the correct equipment, permissions and notices to be arranged by the Logistics Team.
